Artists Application Form for the Worcester Music Festival 2010

If you are a band or performer and wish to be involved in the Worcester Music Festival 2010, or would like profile page on the new Not Just Sauce site, please complete the following bands and performers application form.

The official Worcester Music Festival Website (www.worcestermusicfestival.co.uk) is being developed in partnership with www.notjustsauce.com

Any information submitted by you in Section A will be used, not only as a formal request to play at the 2010 Worcester Music Festival, but, if you are worcester (ish) based, have connections witht he area, have played or are due to play in worcester, we can also give you a presence on www.notjustsauce.com and www.worcestermusicfestival.co.uk . We will notify you of when and where your information can be found on each of the websites.

Any information submitted in Section B will not be published or passed on to third parties. It will only be used in relation to WMF2010 and your participation in the event.

By filling in this form you are expressing a wish to be involved in WMF2010. It does not guarantee you a slot on the festival.

Do you have access to a PA system?
The Worcester Music festival is a free festival organised by volunteers in aid of local good causes and
charities. Therefore are you willing to play a free gig?
Are you willing to allow other acts to you use your basic drumkit?
Are you willing to allow other acts to us your backline / amps?
Are you willing to use other peoples basic drumkit?
Are you willing to use other peoples backline / amps?

 

If you were to play at one of the many venues during the festival weekend, we would ask you to:

  • Work with the venue/promoter to ensure the gig runs smoothly and on time.
  • Notify us asap if circumstances change (eg, the band split up)
  • Encourage the audience to buy raffle tickets/donate to the charities at your gig
  • Advertise your gigs on your various websites and help us publicise the festival as a whole. Logos and info will be sent to you nearer the time.

In return we will offer you:

  • The chance to perform at probably the best Grass Roots Metropolitan Music Festival in The Midlands.
  • Publicity for your act on various websites, the official brochure and also the opportunity of being featured in the local/regional/national press/media.
  • Free entry to the official Worcester Music Festival after party (held sometime in September or October 2010) at a Worcester venue (tbc).
  • Free/Cheap deals on food from local outlets during the weekend. +
  • Free/cheap drinks over the weekend +
