How much does it cost?
All Worcester Music Festival gigs and workshops are FREE to attend. However, we would ask you to show your appreciation and make a donation towards our supported charity of 2024 which we’ll announce soon.

How do I get there?
Worcester has excellent road links to the major motorways. The M5 runs north-south immediately to the east of the City, and is accessed by Junction 6 (Worcester North) and Junction 7 (Worcester South). This makes the festival easily accessible by car from most parts of the country, including London which is only 120 miles away via the M5, M42 and M40. There’s more than one train station in Worcester but Foregate Street is your best option because it’s right in the middle of the action. More travel info is available here.

Where can I park?
Popular options include St. Martin’s Gate, CrownGate, King Street, and Copenhagen Street. All of these are within a few minutes walk of the City centre. For further information about Worcester Council car parks click here.

Where are the venues?
The majority of venues taking part in the festival are located around the centre of Worcester, made up of pubs, clubs, cafes, community buildings, boats, churches, record shops and street performances.

What are the start and finish times?
The live music starts at 6pm on Friday and finishes at midnight. On Saturday and Sunday it starts at midday and finishes at midnight.

Is it family friendly?
Yes. Worcester Music Festival runs from Friday evening right through to the end of the day on Sunday. There are workshops suitable for all ages throughout the weekend, so there is no better time for families and music fans to visit the City. Kids will love the live music but it’s probably the workshops where they’ll really get the chance to let loose and have fun.

Will there be food and drink?
Most of the venues will have soft drinks for the kids and a selection of stronger options for the adults. There’ll be no shortage of food outlets with the festival being held across the city centre, plus several venues will be serving snacks and meals while you enjoy the music. Look out for Worcester Music Festival’s very own ‘Festival Ale’ – available exclusively at specially selected venues over the weekend.

Where can I stay?
Worcester has two Premier Inn a Travelodge and several other hotels, plus plenty of bed and breakfast accommodation in and around the city.
