Stuntdog at Worcester Music Festival

About Stuntdog

Hailing from the West Midlands town of Worcester, Stuntdog are a 5-piece pop/rock band with unique style, combining influences from pop, punk and ska along with a large dose of rock and a hint of psychedelia and prog. Think Pink Floyd meets David Bowie meets Talking Heads. Combined with intelligent lyrics and a crazy sense of humour, Stuntdog promise a great evening of entertainment.

Stuntdog hail from Worcester, a small gloving town set in the shadow of the imposing Malvern Hills in mid-west England. The band line up includes ex 'Cardiacs' tub hitter Dominic Luckman, Craig Wood, Dandelion Killer Adam Daffurn and original members, Peter Jennings-Bates & Steven Wattison. The maniac 'Alabammer Billy' stops by to add noises from time to time too. The first official Stuntdog release was 'Rock-O-Matic' in 2004. The album is a diverse collection of songs reflecting the bands numerous and varied interests in music. From the punchy 'Sixty Zippers' through to the very wrong 'Fez on a peg', Rock-O-Matic will steer you on a noise journey that will make you laugh, cry, jump, rock your pants off and shout really loud.

'Rock-O-Matic' was two years in the making, but Stuntdog have been recording for many years under different names and colourful cloaks.

The album 'Egg' was released in 2007 and saw the birth of favourites 'Hazard Man' and 'Blooty'.

‘Breakfast of Champions’ was released in 2009 and includes re-recordings and different versions of the bands favourite tunes from past years.
