Worcester Music Festival 2026: Supporting ONSIDE
Worcester Music Festival is proud to announce ONSIDE as our chosen charity for 2026. All fundraising efforts from this year’s festival, taking place from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September, will go directly toward supporting this vital local charity.
About ONSIDE
ONSIDE supports local adults, children and young people who may be in crisis, feel isolated, or are struggling with their mental or physical health. They may lack the ability, confidence or knowledge to get the right help and support, access information and advice, build connections and develop new skills… and this is where ONSIDE can help.
ONSIDE provides a wide range of services for adults and children including advocacy, mental health and wellbeing support, social prescribing and community-based link workers. ONSIDE supports more than 14,000 adults, children, and young people each year, and is unique in providing open access to local people who don’t know where to turn. If we can’t help, we know who can.
With offices in Hereford and Worcester City Centres and hubs within local communities including Evesham, Kidderminster and Redditch and our Mix Café in Worcester, people can easily access our support.
There are lots of ways people can support the work of ONSIDE, this could be volunteering, fundraising or spreading the word about who we are and what we do and these could all make a vital difference to improving the lives of local people facing tough times.
How do your donations help Onside?
£20 will fund a resource play pack for a young child with mental health issues who is being supported by one of our Melo practitioners
£50 will fund two sessions of a social support group for people who are isolated and lonely to help connect them to their community
£100 will fund activities for a child in care being supported by one of our Independent Visitor over 6 months
£150 will mean we can support someone who has experienced mental health problems to learn skills as a Peer Mentor and help another person facing mental health difficulties
£200 means we can offer a placement in our Mix Café enabling a person with learning difficulties or mental ill health to transform their lives and to gain the skills and confidence they need to move in to training, employment or volunteering
£300 will fund four sessions of specialist therapy such as play, art, equine, animal therapy for a child or young person impacted by bereavement and family trauma
£400 provides a community advocate to ensure a vulnerable person does not face neglect, abuse or exploitation. Someone like Jim, who has learning difficulties and was persuaded by his brother to take out a loan and then left to pay back money that his brother had taken from him.
