CIARS blends indie vocals with alt-rock guitar textures, fast blues-inspired solos, and loud, catchy choruses.

Launched in June 2024, CIARS is the creative vision of singer and lead guitarist Ciaran Wright, brought to life on stage with a dynamic live band: jazz-influenced drummer Reece Morgan, punk-rooted bassist Kai Mellor, and rhythm guitarist Tom Gough (aka Guffy). Together, they deliver an electrifying live experience driven by raw emotion and powerful instrumentation. CIARS' sound combines indie vocal stylings reminiscent of The Night Cafe with layered guitar textures inspired by Smashing Pumpkins and the moody depth of King Krule, resulting in a bold, genre-defying style.
