Volunteer at Worcester Music Festival

Worcester Music Festival takes place from the 12th to 14th September 2025., and we’re looking for passionate, reliable volunteers to help make this year’s event our best yet

Whether you're an experienced professional or simply eager to get involved, volunteering with us is a great way to support local music, gain hands-on experience, and be part of a vibrant community celebration.

We’re currently recruiting for the following roles:

• Sound technicians
• Stage managers
• Promoters
• MCs and DJs
• Charity collectors
• Lighting technicians
• Venue stewards
• Photographers
• General volunteers

Promoters

Promoters play a key role in curating and delivering individual gigs. Responsibilities include:

• Managing the full line-up for a specific event
• Ensuring smooth stage management throughout the performance
• Communicating effectively with artists, sound engineers, venues and the festival committee
• Promoting Worcester Music Festival and its charitable mission

Sound Engineers

Sound engineers help deliver high-quality audio experiences across our venues. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the festival PA team to ensure technical needs are met
• Maintaining regular contact with the festival team to manage any issues or overruns
• Coordinating with promoters and performers to ensure seamless transitions
• Providing excellent sound for both the audience and artists
