Applications have now opened for Worcester Music Festival\u2019s chosen charity of 2019.<\/p>\n

Every year, the festival choses to support a different local charity, raising money over the course of the musical weekend, which, in 2019, will take place across the 13-15\u00a0September in Worcester\u2019s vibrant city centre. Applications must be in for Friday 25\u00a0January and the form can be found via the Worcester Music Festival\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

Last year the three-day celebration of music and art raised an astonishing \u00a35307.15 for the Worcestershire Association of Carers. The total was a record breaker for the festival and they hope to raise even more in 2019.<\/p>\n

Nikki Boraston, Festival Director, commented;<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cLast year, the festival chose Worcestershire Association of Carers as our charity and it really was a great cause. So many people don\u2019t realise they are a carer, or even know one, and being able to support the charities plight to provide some respite and support for carers was an honour.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNow, we\u2019re focusing on next year. After such a phenomenal festival in September, we want to make 2019\u2019s even better, and we need an important cause to support as we do it!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
