About The Calamity
Peddlers of alternative indie dreampop for the masses and discerning listeners alike, wielding thoughtful lyrics, poetic visions of a post-industrial town.
Formed by siblings Billy and Steph Haynes, a debut studio EP was released in 2018, gaining air play from Steve Lamacq and Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music.
The band has played numerous gigs in the West Midlands and beyond. A new single 'We Pass By' was released in May and the band are currently working on an album.
