About Poetry Out Loud with Spoz

Reading or performing a poem out loud brings the work alive and for young people, it relates their work to other artistic genres like music and rap. This workshop, led by previous Birmingham Poet Laureate, Spoz, aims to get young people reading, writing and appreciating any form of poetry. All ages are welcome and this will be a very supportive and encouraging environment.

Giovanni Profile

Spoz is an award winning performance poet, singer / songwriter, film maker, playwright and was the poet-in-residence at Birmingham City FC. He has been seen on BBC and Central Television, has written for and been heard on ... BBC Radio Four, Radio Five Live, Radio West Midlands, Radio Coventry & Warwickshire and Capital Gold, as well as the toilet.
