International headline tours with Pitchshifter and varied studio sessions have helped shape Jason Bowld into one of the most popular, versatile drummers to come out of the U. K.

Known for his dynamic drumming with U.K. rockers Pitchshifter over the last 9 years, Jason Bowld is a man of many talents. He has written, performed and produced his critically acclaimed side-project band - This is Menace (R.I.P. Nov '08), which features over 19 guest vocalists from bands such as Killing Joke, Hundred Reasons, Funeral for a Friend and Fightstar - Jason filled in for Fightstar on their 5 week U.K. tour in October '08 at short notice, learning their entire set in a morning.

He has also proven himself in other genres of music with his versatile style. His playing with EMF guitarist Ian Dench for cult singer Amanda Ghost earned him respect from U2 and Depeche Mode producers Dave McCracken and Steve Fitzmaurice. Personal requests from Sony BMG to record for up and coming bands has reinforced Jason's efficiency in the studio, where has been known to record drum parts for albums within three days. This positive work ethic is further echoed by other international producers that Jason has worked with such as Machine, Ulrich Wilde, Al Clay and Andy Sneap.

Currently, Jason is writing and recording with Pitchshifter for their new album, due for release in March 2010. He continues to contribute for Rhythm magazine, where he has his own column and performs regular drum clinics to pass on his 'musical approach' to drumming. Jason also finds time to remix other bands - currently he is working on a remix for Fightstar's new single 'Mercury Summer'. In between his creative ventures, he records, requested sessions at Red Traingle studios in Dorset U.K. and FFG studios in the Midlands U.K. and also records 'Remote Sessions' in his own studio for various clients.
