About World Drumming

A wonderful range of world drumming styles that can be played by all ages and abilities. Promoting unity through rhythm, Drumlove will introduce you to a fusion of beats from Brazil, Africa, India and the Caribbean in this fun focused hour-long workshop. If you have your own drum and would like to bring it along, then please do. Otherwise we have lots of drums available for you to use during the session. Reserve place at: workshops@worcestermusicfestival.co.uk with a return email address, participant name and phone number or take your chances on the day! All ages welcome – Family friendly event.

Promoting unity through rhythm since 1996.

Artistic director, Patrick McArdle has over ten years experience in leading community arts and music projects. He is a keen ethno-musicologist and dedicates his life to furthering public awareness of the roots of all music in ancient cultural traditions.
Specialising in making and playing African drums, Pat also learnt Arabic, Indian, Carribbean and South American songs that contribute towards his truly world mix of beats and instruments.
