About Rock Choir Workshop & Outdoor Performance

Do you find yourself singing in the shower, harmonising to the radio or rocking out at karaoke, but never thought you could join a choir? Love singing along to rock anthems and feel-good pop hits, but never had the confidence to take centre stage?

Then Rock Choir is for you! The UK's original contemporary choir, Rock Choir is known for singing catchy, up-beat tracks with no audition and no requirement to read music, it is bringing pop, rock and Motown hits to thousands of individuals and communities such as Worcester and Droitwich across the country.

Come and try us out at Worcester Music Festival -we are a confidence building choir who sing Pop, Motown and Gospel. Age 10+ Reserve place at: workshops@worcestermusicfestival.co.uk with a return email address, participant name and phone number or take your chances on the day!

Guildhall Performance - Worcester and Droitwich Rock Choirs will entertain Worcester shoppers outside the Guildhall at 13:15 with a selection of feel-good pop hits and anthems. Songs that are sure to lift your spirits and tempt you to join in with the free workshop starting at 14:30!

Watch out as you do your shopping. The Rock Choir will also be at large in the city centre and may just pop up to get you dancing in the street!

If you fancy joining us on a more permanent basis, we rehearse every Tuesday evening at Pitmaston Primary School, Malvern Road, Worcester, WR2 4ZF 8-9:30pm and Wednesday evening at St Peter's First School, St Peter's Church Lane, The Holloway Droitwich Spa, WR9 7AN 8-9:30pm.

Malvern Morning Choir is new from September! Wednesdays. The Lyttelton Well, Church Street, Malvern, Worcestershire, WR14 2AY 10-11:30am

Helen Just is a talented multi-instrumentalist with three grade eight certificates and advanced piano skills. Having studied Performing at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, she went on to gain an honours degree in Secondary Music Education from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. Helen has worked teaching music in schools, as an instrumental teacher for Birmingham Music Service and as a leader of children’s choirs across Worcestershire. Helen considers herself to be a pragmatic teacher and enjoys performing in ensembles and a function band on the sax. Being a Rock Choir leader enables Helen to bring her enthusiasm and passion for music to all members she encounters.
