In addition to the workshop, Jon will be performing Drumscapes – live sampling at the Marr’s Bar 20:30-21:00 on Sunday evening. Jon Sterckx is a UK based percussionist with over 20 years experience of world percussion. Drumscapes - his solo multi percussion performance is a synthesis of traditional musicianship and contemporary live electronics. Defying genre, drums from India, Africa and the Middle East sit alongside vocal percussion and cutting edge technology, bringing traditional world percussion into the 21st century.
