The event is to be held at The Marrs Bars, with the doors open at 5pm.
The following line-up has been confirmed.

The artists’ locally themed song could be about what Worcester means to them, what they like ordon’t like about the city or even a protest song about the speed camera on Rainbow Hill.
Performers can draw inspiration from a place that they love, a history lesson, our own Worcestershire Sauce, or absolutely anything that has a connection to our city.
Approximately 15 artists will get the chance to perform on the Marrs Bar stage, with the Worcester themed song being professionally recorded live by Dave Draper of FFG Studios. Those wishing to be considered should send their song to Festival organisers on info@worcestermusicfestival.co.uk
“We really want to showcase some of the fantastic writing talent in the city” says Chris Bennion, Co-Chairman of the Festival. “The Sunday night of the festival will have a huge selection of punk, metal, rock, indie and blues bands playing around the city, but if you want to sit back, relax and witness some fine song writing talent, the Marrs Bar will be the place to be.”.
Brian Marr, owner of the Marrs Bar and host for the night is also looking forward to the event. “The Festival is a fantastic way of seeing what music is being developed in the city, from young school bands to experienced performers breaking into the big time, and this song writing showcase is going to be a wonderful event. I can’t wait to see what is performed.”.
Entrance is free and music lovers will be treated to a good set by Leeds singer, songwriter and guitar virtuoso, Jon Gomm, who is also offering guitarists a chance to learn his unique style at a workshop earlier in the day at a another city centre venue.
