Meet the family...

You may be familiar with our festival mascots – Davina and Nige.  They’ve accompanied us since last year and have been seen at many festival events during the last twelve months.  Well, since we’ve been away, they’ve been a little busy and this year we are joined by Davina and Nige’s children!

Being rather laid back, Davina and Nige have not managed to get around to actually giving their poor children names yet… So we at WMF HQ took it upon ourselves to get names chosen for them at Sunday’s Acoustic Lunch event.  We asked the audience for their suggestions and then got a couple of very special guests to choose their favourites.  We can now happily announce that the two children completing the WMF family will be called ROXANNE and BONGO! The audience member whose suggestion was chosen was Andi Robbins.

Look out for them at various family friendly events during the festival itself from 24^th – 27^th August.
