Genre: Grunge/Rock/Metal

Profile
Twisted Species formed in 2009, born out of a passionate collective vision to create a unique rock sound, by drawing on their varied influences. Hard work and continued commitment bring these elements together in a powerful and entertaining way.
Their music is best described as Grunge Tunes with Metal Grooves, with comparisons regularly being drawn to anywhere between Black Stone Cherry and Pearl Jam.
Each band member brings their own individual qualities to the writing process, and this is ultimately reflected in their live performances, for example, bass player Luke Hudson (a classicaly trained guitarist) brings a punk and funk theme to his elastic bass lines, and the metal grooves come courtesy of Ralph Corn, in the form of technical riffing and rock solid rhythm guitar. Dave Gandon delivers Chris Cornell inspired guttural vocals and blues rock lead lines, while
Stuart Reynolds heads up the grunge inspired percussion engine that drives their sound.
Following the release of their debut e.p Tormented, the band aims to continue to build a strong loyal fanbase, through live performances nationwide and beyond. With many repeat bookings being taken from prestigious stages they have stepped out onto, and interest from newer venues, their levels of success looks set to match that of the expectations bestowed upon them.
