I'm not wordly wise and I am not a poet, but I'm as honest as I can be with the songs that I write and the recordings that I have made. I am eternally thankful to everybody who has encouraged me with music and I feel honoured to be constantly surrounded by extremely talented musicians and friends who play and support what I do. After playing solo gigs for many years I have recently been joined by the wonderfully talented Dan Bramhall and Luke Elliott. They are the Rafters. we are Richard Clarke & The Rafters .
