About Rex Waldron

Rex has enjoyed a diverse musical life, from singing as a church chorister as a teenager, through the pub and club circuit of the 1980's with Bromsgrove based rock band Karaganda and latterly into the English Traditional folk scene as the father half of father and son duo Angelcynn. With Angelcynn he and son Patrick featured as live guest artists on local radio shows with Radio Hereford and Worcester and Oldham Community Radio as well as releasing a cd "Father to Son" which featured on Genevieve Tudor's Radio Shropshire show. Since 2009, Rex has perfomed solo. Expect English music old and new, original songs penned with Worcestershire lyricist Alan Heywood, a nod to the Morris, a hint of India and some silly stories!
