• 2013 kicks off with a surge of serotonin as JITCOO hit the scene with their debut single BlackBelt. They bring with them genuine talent, contagious passion and so much emotional sunshine some people think the music has restorative properties. Oh, and a Ukulele too. Get ready to make this band your new ear-crumpet.

• Following the release of their 2011 EP ‘Got Soul Got Vibe’ and subsequent signing to indie label Sound Hub, and thanks to their dedication to playing live as much as humanly possible, JITCOO have managed to attract a substantial audience; making this new record and the album to follow (in April 2013) massively exciting.

• All set to embark on their UK tour celebrating the release of BlackBelt, (not to mention the music video) the band are raring to show audiences old and new why they made the international final of the Surface Festival competition in 2012 and why they have been on the same bill as the likes of Scott Mathews, Ben Howard, Lucy Rose, Ed Sheeran, Toploader, Dog Is Dead and Brothers & Bones.

• Finding bands that blend numerous genres is not rare these days but finding a band that does it quite like Jasper in the Company of Others is. They are: Jim Arnold in charge of Drums and percussion, Will Hughes thumbing the Bass (and backing vocals), Jak Hayward teasing the groove from the Ukulele (and backing vocals) and Jasper; lead vocalist and acoustic guitar wrangler around whose creative foundation the musical township of JITCOO was built.
