About Bird Brother
Formed 2011 in Sussex, Birdbrother was originally conceived as an acoustic duo. Philip Stapley and Kris Jude, both playing guitar and harmonising vocally. Alongside gigs they recorded an album 'Peace to the Wanderer' which was released in 2012.
The duo then became a four piece and disbanded in 2013 when frontman Philip Stapley relocated to Shropshire. He has recently started performing with Paul Beadle (Whiteleaved Oak, Splatt, Journeyman) on flute and percussion.
Aside from one cover version (Rolling stones B-side 'Dead flowers') the album boasts 10 original songs with flavours of sixties folk rock. Available on Spotify, I-tunes, Deezer.
